Some Blaster Action
August 24th, 2008
Airblaster team shredder Ben Lynch got swallowed by Mt. Hood and then spit out again. Crazy story to say the least. This will be a good one for him to tell the grandkids for sure. He was up filming with the Airblaster crew for the film “August”. This film is a follow up to their last film “April”. The inside boys at Airblaster are telling us this will be a hot flick to watch with the girlfriend. It’s coming to Sweden soon. Get the popcorn buttered.

INTRODUCING TEAM MEMBER #2
August 23rd, 2008
We had the change to recently chat with Adam Granqvist. Adam is riding on the Stuntwood team so we figured we’d catch up with him and see what he’s been up to over the summer. Adam surely slays on the shred stick and we’re stoked he’s on the program with us. Keep your eyes open for Adam this season wearing a White Javier Jacket and Red HipBag Pant from Airblaster. Here’s a few questions we asked him and a few photos he sent us of a recent trip he took.
Hey Adam what’s your details?
Hey! My name is Adam Granqvist and I`m 17 years old. I’m doing my second year at the Swedish Snowboard School in Malung.
What’s your current snowboard set up?
I ride Gnu Riders Choice series boards sizes 151 and 157, Flux bindings, 32 boots, Airblaster outerwear and Giro goggles and helmets.
You’ve changed board sponsors this year. How does it feel?
Yes, it feels good I`m really stoked on Gnu!
What’s your favorite place to shred?
Kläppen is the best!
You went to Norway for some summer shredding. How did that treat you?
Yeah, It was sick! sun and slush it can`t be better!
How’s things in Malung? Any super shredders coming up in the school we should keep our eyes open for other then you of course.
Yes, there is allot of good riders in Malung. You should keep yours eyes open for Halldor Helgasson he’s killing it!
If you had to pick one rider that you would say was the best of all time who would it be?
Eero Ettala for sure.
If you could have one thing change in the Swedish snowboard scene what would it be?
More rail comps.
So we’re planning a few Stuntwood team trips this season. You have any big plans for the season. Any tricks you want to get this season?
I don’t have any big plans just some small trips and I really hope that I don’t get hurt so I can film some this season.
If you were a super hero would you where tights or what?
Yes, of course I should wear tights!
How about a list of your sponsors. Who’s got your back this season?
My sponsors this seasons is Airblaster (www.stuntwood.se), Gnu, Flux (www.permafrost.se) and Giro. I really want to thank them, my family and my friends for sure!
Alright thanks Adam. Here’s some Norway summer action.
