Hope everyone had a good Christmas and enjoyed some good eats and time with family and other good people.  We are back online after a short trip to some surf and sand and sun.  Good times, good waves.  We got lots of posts to fill you in on.  So here’s the first post for you web people.

SIMON’S BINDING TEST

December 20th, 2008

Simon is a creative boy.  Always looking for something to shred.  As we said in the last post we’d get Simon to do a review.  Instead we got a video from him.  So take a look.  Handmade by Simon.   Here’s some things he had to say about the bindings.

“I love this binding”

“This binding is Awesome”

“The rails feel so good with these bindings”

These where taken from a Skype message we got from Simon.

BUY FLUX

December 19th, 2008

Marcus over at Permafrost Distribution sold us some bindings a few weeks ago. I’ve been riding Flux for a few seasons now.  I can say I’ve honestly not found a better binding to ride.  I’ve rode them all.  Flux has got it dialed.  Heck it’s Japanese! Anybody that has every been to Japan knows those dudes over engineer the poo out of things.  They test, tweak, study, probe every thing.  Buy Flux kids.  Best binding out there HANDS DOWN. The only thing that makes Flux better is putting them on a Signal board.  Our team rider Simon Hjorth will be getting his new pair of Flux this week.  I’ll get him to do a test right up sometime soon.

These are the bindings I got.  They are EPIC-AWESOME

If you want a quick read and some pics on Flux check this link.  It’s a cool little write up of Transworld’s office in Japan and some on Flux.

YES WE CAN

December 18th, 2008

Some recent snowboard news.  DCP, Romain, and JP Solberg will be starting their own snowboard brand. They’ve not yet said what the name of the  company will be.  Will be cool to see how this developes.  Many people on the forums out there are speaking there mind on this one.  Many people are not to excited about another “Elan or GST” board brand.  Those are the two factories that most brands are building boards at.  So allot of the boards that are on the market share allot of the same qualities.  We’ll see what these three come up with to set themselves apart for the rest of the pack.  The graphics you see in this pic are just a test run for the boys.  Kind of a fun idea anyway.  Yes we can, yes there is life after Burton.

IT’S BACK

December 17th, 2008

VBS has got the Powder and Rails up running again.  Pretty stoked on this new set of clips.  They feature Jeff Brushie.  I always appreciated Jeff’s style so it’s cool to see him get some coverage like this.  He had a great pro model with a trout on it back in the day.  I wanted that board.  Here’s the first two videos from the series.

A little team update

December 15th, 2008

The Stuntwood shredders have been out on the hills and in the cities shredding hard.  Shredding what ever they can get their selves onto and off of.  Adam has been in Mora and Malung shooting a few photos with some of his school bros.  Simon has been in Trysil and back here shredding Foxpark.  Robin has been working hard in Oslo and is in his last week of work.  Soon it’s a season of shredding for that boy.  Marte has been shredding Trysil and filming as well.  New Ashbury rider Zabastain Landmark has been international and hitting up some parks in Europe and doing some adds for his sponsor Protest.  Here’s a few photos from the crew.

Zebastian in Cape Town.  That’s his real phone number.

Call it I promise it won’t be expensive.

Simon.  Always finding something fun to play on.
