We had heard some months back that Gigi Ruf was riding a Volcom branded board in New Zealand. A good friend told us back then he was ripping NZ but not on a Burton. Well we can now let the cat out of the bag. Gigi will be riding Volcom full program Outerwear and boards. Secondly it’s very apparent that Burton is going to drop the Unic line next season. Personally we feel Gigi will fit much better with the Volcom family. Word on the street is the boards have been made over at Mervin up till now. If that will change come time for production models who knows. Here’s a link from Volcoms site.
