As we mentioned it’s time to introduce some of the boys to you web lurkers out there. Our first rider introduction is Simon Hjorth. Simon is a good old local boy up here in the Leksand area. Simon has some great hair, has a cat named curry and enjoys a good old session on the snowboard. Read below for some more info and a few pics.

Hey Simon what’s your details?

My Name is Simon Hjorth, I live in Gagnef, 17 years old.

What’s your current snowboard setup?

My board is a 09 Zion WhoaMan 146, 32 boots, K2 bindings, Airblaster outerwear and goggles, Jofa helmets and backpacks.

Favorite place to shred?

Anywhere I can shred with my friends.

Tell us about Fox Park?

Ya Fox park is my fun little home made park. Fox park is just a park to enjoy that we build up in my backyard every season. We try to learn new tricks, a little practice place to ride and chill.

Do you have a favorite snowboarder of all time?

Ya I guess Travis Parker is probably my fav.

How about a Swedish dude?

It is Robin ljugdahl for sure.. he is the best bro.

You mean Stuntwood Robin?

Haha, ya he’s such a good box rider.

Sweet!

Cool man, anybody you want to thank?

Ya, Mom and Dad, all those that sponsor me, Stuntwood and God.

Alright thanks for your time.

Stuntwood Team

May 20th, 2008

The crew here at Stuntwood has been scoping Sweden for some good old talent. Sure we know there is a bag full of good riders all over this country. Although we are looking for more then just a good rider. We’re looking for dudes that are having fun on their snowboards. Not out to prove anything. Just have a good old day of snow shredding with the boys. The crew will be representing the Stuntwood brands with pride. Keep your eyes open for them at a local hill. Over the coming weeks and months we’ll be introducing you to these cool cats. Till then here’s a pic of the boys on the party box.

MackDawg

March 26th, 2008

Kind of old news but we’ll post it up anyway. MackDawg has a new website up. Some pretty skilled hands crafted this little gem. They seem to be gearing up for the big release of next years movie. It’s also 20 years of producing film for these dudes. Some big names riding for MackDawg’s next movie. Seems like some old Forum 8 dudes will be filming again together (Devun, Jeremy, and JP). Should be a good flick to take your lady friend to or maybe not.

Welcome AirSweden!!

March 26th, 2008

Nej, nej, we are not talking about airplanes. Ya the boys here at Stuntwood have hooked up with none other than Airblaster. Yup, Airblaster is landing in Sweden. These guys are bringing freshness and creativity to snowboarding. In fact they put the fun in funk the nar in gnarly, ya you get the point. Some serious stuff going on here. Anyway, we’re so stoked to be working with some real dudes that really love snowboarding. Airblaster was started by the one and only Travis Parker. He’s gathered up a great crew of bros and they are building up some fine gears for all us shred heads to sport. Keep your eyes open for Airblaster here in Sweden. Tell your local shop to contact us here at Stuntwood for this goodness on their shelves. In honor of Travis’s sushi skills we’ve built a little picture for him. We know the airpill is upside down but we wanted to show that nice slab of maguro.

The Lodge

March 26th, 2008

Transworld snowboarding has just posted up a little video of a trip they made to the Signal factory called “The Lodge”. Last year Signal and Five Axis merged to create The Lodge. Check out the fun times and watch as some of the Transworld staff make some boards.

OK kiddy’s so here’s some dirt for you all. Stuntwood is proud to welcome Signal snowboards to our lineup. Signal is a super solid board company. These guys got their OWN factory and are owned by snowboarders. Ya we’ve heard the saying before “owned by snowboarders for snowboarders”. Well this is the real deal folks. I mean these guys still rip like 5 year old underwear. Can you say Dave Lee, Matt Hammer, yup rippers of copious maximus. Keep your eyes open for a Signal demo near you. They got some sweet park boards next season. Buttery soft I tell you.

ISPO

February 14th, 2008

Back from ISPO. Was crazy down there in Germany. ISPO is almost to much for this little guy to handle. My eyeballs can only handle so much eye candy. I didn’t have much time to take any pictures. I can tell of some booths that where harbouring some hotness. Here’s a few examples of booths that caught my eye.

Airblaster was amazing. Such a sick line next year, great color ways, fabrics, and just all around amazing dudes. Oh ya they have sick business cards. Nomis has stepped up their game and their team. They signed Japanese super shredder Tadashi Fuse. Signal snowboards has a yummy looking line of boards next year. With their own factory these guys are in a league of their own.

All these brands are hot but none are as hot as this dude below. He’s so hot he’s wearing a paper bag on his head so we don’t get depressed. How kind..
